Basic Watering Guidelines

• Water plants with a slowstream of water.
• Soak the soils immediately beneath and around the plant.
• Do not spray foliage.
• Plants in raised beds or planters may require watering more often.
• Never water plants with lawn sprinkler, water each plant individually.
• Perennials may need to be watered more often than plants.
• Sod or seeded areas should be watered separately then planting beds.
